Rewrite each quantity as a decimal
We get:
QUANTITY A: 0.6666.. - 0.75
QUANTITY B: 0.75 - 0.8
If you don't want to deal with those calculations, one option is to ADD 0.75 to both quantities, and then ADD 0.8 to both quantities to get:
QUANTITY A: 0.6666... + 0.8
QUANTITY B: 0.75 + 0.75
Evaluate to get:
QUANTITY A: 1.4666...
QUANTITY B: 1.5
Answer: B
