\(= 10,000 + (2 * 100)\)
\(= 10,000 + 200\)
\(= 10,200\)
If \(n = 10,200\), then \(n^2 = (10,200)^2\)
= (10,200)(10,200)
Do we need to calculate this?
No.
Notice that the product (10,200)(10,200) will have 4 0's at the end
That is, (10,200)(10,200) = -------0000
Since n = 10,200, we can see that n has 3 zeros,
Since n² = -------0000, we can see that n² has AT LEAST 4 zeros,
We get:
QUANTITY A: 3
QUANTITY B: AT LEAST 4
