This type of questions can be solved by using common sense. Item A has a cost price of $ 90 while Item B has a cost price of $ 100. Both the items are sold after adding $10 to it. The weight of $10 is more for $90 compared to $100 dollar hence item A has a larger percentage profit.
Think of it as buying a cup of tea vs buying a car.
Let us say a cup of tea costs $1.2 and a car cost $4000
If you get a discount of $1 in a cup of tea it's almost like you have got the tea for free but if you get a discount of $1 when buying a car then you have got almost no discount.
Consider this case to be similar to the question but in the question the difference between price is small however the idea is the same.
