QUANTITY A: \(\frac{4x^2-1}{2x+1}=\frac{(2x+1)(2x-1)}{2x+1}=2x-1\)
QUANTITY B: \(\frac{4x^2-1}{2x-1}=\frac{(2x+1)(2x-1)}{2x-1}=2x+1\)
We now have:
QUANTITY A: 2x - 1
QUANTITY B: 2x + 1
Subtract 2x from both quantities:
QUANTITY A: -1
QUANTITY B: 1
Answer: B
