Take: \(12x - 46 = -18 + 5x\)
Subtract 5x from both sides to get: \(7x - 46 = -18\)
Add 46 to both sides to get: \(7x = 28\)
Divide both sides by 7 to get: \(x = 4\)
We get:
QUANTITY A: 4
QUANTITY B: 5
Answer: B
