Difficulty factor is the summation of the product of number of question of each type in a year and its corresponding difficulty level.
For 1990 it is 55*3 + 55*3 + 55*2 = 440
For 1991 it is 50*2 + 50*1 + 50*1 = 200
For 1992 it is 50*3 + 50*1 + 50*3 = 350
For 1993 it is 50*3 + 50*1 + 50*2 = 300
For 1994 it is 50*1 + 37*3 + 39*3 = 278
option A
