Before I dive into the tips to score 160+ on the GRE Verbal, I'd like to tell you a few things about the GRE Verbal Section.
The GRE Verbal Section is divided into 3 parts and all questions carry the same weightage
1. GRE Verbal Text Completion
This section is nothing but fill in the blanks with 1 word. All you have to do is fill in the blanks with a word that makes sense when you read the entire sentence.
2. GRE Sentence Equivalence
This is the easiest of the 3 sections in GRE Verbal. All you have to do is, select exactly two words that best complete the sentence and produce sentences that are alike in meaning.
3. GRE Verbal Reading Comprehension
This is the toughest of the 3 sections as it requires high vocabulary and also good understanding of the English language. Also, along with understanding, you need to be fast at reading the passage too. Taking too much time can affect other sections.
Now that you have an understanding about the GRE Verbal, let's dive into the Tips required to score 160+
