We can write: 5 = \(\frac{x}{5}\) of 10
Rewrite as: \(5 = (\frac{x}{5})(10)\)
Simplify: \(5 = \frac{10x}{5}\)
Simplify: \(5 = 2x\)
Divide both sides by 2 to get: \(\frac{5}{2} = x\)
Answer: A

1) fifth of 10 -> 10/5=2
2) 5 is how many fifth of 10 (fifth of ten = 2)? -> 5/2=2.5 (2 goes in 5 2.5 times)
