We can solve this question using matching operations
Given:
Quantity A: (r + 3)(s + 2)
Quantity B: rs + 12
Use FOIL to expand Quantity A:
Quantity A: rs + 2r + 3s + 6
Quantity B: rs + 12
Subtract rs and subtract 6 from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: 2r + 3s
Quantity B: 6
From here, we can see that, if r = 0 and s = 0, then Quantity B is greater than Quantity A
Conversely, if r = 100 and s = 100, then Quantity A is greater than Quantity B
Answer: D

Shouldn't it be: Quantity A: rs + 2r + 3s + 6
