Hi Tarun,
Given the limited time to ideate points for or against as well as draft essay, it's obvious to miss out some points. However, missing on critical points can lead your essay to low score.
Since, you are agreeing with the stated claim, the very first question I want to ask is what and who is authority to you? This will help you to develop your essay basis, that all or some authorities should be questioned.
Here, you seem to empower citizens' ideology as authoritative tenets, when in reality they have just stated their general beliefs not backed by scientific evidences and criticized those who had different opinion. There is no rule or law to be followed to go against common beliefs. Going against these beliefs would not be stated law breaking.
Further, in the last para you contradict your claim. You should either fully agree and present case why you feel that should or shouldn't be done.
Let me know if you have a different opinion.
Thanks
