Twenty percent of the sweaters in a store are white. Of the remaining sweaters, 40 percent are brown, and the rest are blue. If there are 200 sweaters in the store, then how many more blue sweaters than white sweaters are in the store?

Here we have 0.2*200 = 40 white sweaters; (1-0.2)*0.2*200 = 0.32*200 = 64 brown sweaters and (1-(0.32+0.2))*200 = 48*200 = 96 blue sweaters.

The difference between white and blue sweaters is 96- 40= 56.

Here we have 20% of while sweaters = 0.2 * 200 = 40 white sweaters.
Of the remaining sweaters, 40% are brown = 0.8*0.4*200 = 0.32* 200 = 64 brown sweaters.
So, the rest are all blue= 200 – 64 – 40 = 96 blue sweaters.
How many more blue sweaters than white sweaters in the store = 96 – 40 = 56 is the answer.
