Sentence Equivalence Strategy

Good day
I'm memorizing magoosh words, some from manhattan and Barron's GRE High frequency 333 words vocab. list.
My strategy with SE is :
1- read the sentence
2- Think what is the needed meaning or does it need positive or -ve. Also, I look If there is any words that support or contrast.
3- Choose from the choices
I'm facing several issues:
1- there are a lot of words that I don't know or even can guess are they + or - in the choices although I know the meaning required.
2- Some words that I know their meanings but the question use other meaning than those in magoosh or whatever other resources.
My Test is on Sept- 25. I need in Verbal 160. My RC reached a peak that I can't improve and it is very hard to improve. So, what are your suggestions guys? please help.

The strategy is the right one but please forget that material.
use only OFFICIAL material considering you are in the last stage of your preparation

what do you mean by the official materials ? do you mean those in your tags?
