Area of equilateral triangle is given by:
\(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}\) s^2 where s is a side of the triangle.
Area of square = \(l^2\) where l = length of a side of the square
From question l = s
hence,
Qty A simplifies to \(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4} s^2\)
Qty B simplifies to \(s^2\)
Cancel \(s^2\) from both side
Qty A = \(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}\)
Qty B = 1
B is greater
\(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}\) s^2 where s is a side of the triangle.

From question l = s
hence,
