Instead of taking out \(30%\) of 280 and again taking out 25% of 280 and then adding the sum and finally reducing the sum from 280 is a time consuming method. Easier way is taking out 45% of 280 because \(30% + 25% = 55%\) which comprises of cards of other types. However we are interested in basketball cards which is \(100 - 55 = 45%\) of total
\(45%\) of \(280 = 126\) Still time saving method is to understand that \(50%\) of \(280 = 140\) and \(45%\) is slightly less than that therefore option C is a viable option.
