Since all the points are on the same line, the slope between any two points is the same.
We can derive the slope between points (5,2) and (3,5) as \(\frac{3}{-3}\) = -1
We can get the value of m by equating the slope between the points (5,2) and (m,4) and -1
or, \(\frac{2}{m-5}\) = -1
or, 2 = -m+5
or, m = 3
Now we can similarly get the value of n by equating the slope between points (3,5) and (n,7) and -1
or, \(\frac{2}{n-3}\) = -1
or, 2 = -n+3
or, n = 1
Therefore, \(m>n\)

Another approach is to sketch the given points.
We'll start with (5, 2) and (3, 5)
Now add (m, 4) and (n, 7)
Since we know the y-coordinate of each point, we can approximate what they will be on the line
At this point, we can see that, since the point (m, 4) is to the RIGHT of (n, 7), it must be the case that m > n
Answer: A
