The answer should be D.

because 12.1549 would also round upto 12.16

so x>=4.

To round the value of the decimal 12.15x9 to 12.16, it means that x should be greater than or equal to 5.

to be around 12.16, the x value has to be either 5 or greater than 5. so the options A is greater.

Carcass , i have very silly doubt ,
For 12.155 round up to nearest hundredth and For 12.15 round up to nearest tenth both give same result of 12.16 ?

No it is not a silly question., almost every body get confused , even I

For 12.155 round up to nearest hundredth

12.16

and For 12.15 round up to nearest tenth

x should be equal to 5 or greater for 12.15x9 to become 12.16.

Quantity A will always be greater.
