why the answer is 7 ?

From the graph no. of female = 2
No. male = 35
Total employees = 37
Now we need to find the total no. of employees in the 35-44 age group
and that will be = 0.24 * 37 = 8.88 (because 24% consist the total no. of employees in the age group of 35-44)
And we know there are 2 female employees in the same age group,
So the no. of male in the age group = 8.88 - 2 = 6.88 = which is closer to 7 and not 6
Therefore answer is B
