3a - 10 = b ->1
3b - 10 = a ->2
using eq 2 in 1,
3(3b-10) - 10 = b
9b - 30 - 10 = b
b =5
Using b = 5 in eq. 1
a = 5
Hence, C
3b - 10 = a ->2
using eq 2 in 1,
3(3b-10) - 10 = b
9b - 30 - 10 = b
b =5
Using b = 5 in eq. 1
a = 5
Hence, C

Rewrite as:
\(3a-b=10\)
\(3b-a=10\)
Since both equations are set equal to 10, we can write: \(3a-b=3b-a\)
Add \(b\) to both sides to get: \(3a=4b-a\)
Add \(a\) to both sides to get: \(4a=4b\)
Divide both sides by 4 to get: \(a=b\)
Answer: C
