The right answer is A.
Let side of square=x. So A is x.
As BCE is equilateral, BE = CE = BC = x
PCE is a right angle triangle and CE is the hypotenuse. So PE will be less than CE. Therefore PE is less than x.
So A is the answer

As ABCD is a square so AB=BC=CD=DA=PQ, and As BCE is equilateral triangle so BC=CE=BE, So from these above two equation PQ=PE, answer is C.
