If x/y = 2/3 AND x + y = 5, we can see pretty quickly that x = 2 and y = 3
So, we can ask, "Which of the answer choices are greater than 3?"
Better yet, since 3 = √9, can ask, "Which of the answer choices are greater than √9?"

B) √10 Yes
C) √24 Yes
D) √35 Yes
E) √43 Yes
