When 29 of the votes on a certain resolution have been counted, 34 of those counted are in favor of the resolution. What fraction of remaining votes must be against the resolution so that the total count will result in vote of 2 to 1 against the resolution?

lets choose 18 to be total no. of votes. then 2/9*18 = 4 3/4 are in favour i.e. : 3/4*4 = 3, so 3:1 is ratio of favour vs non-favour required ratio is 2:1, so 18*2/3 = 12. we need 12 votes for not favour from the remaining 14. 12-1/14 == 11/14
