In this type of question since the deduction was for 3 times,
so the percentage of loss in first 3 times at 1% loss will be always less than 3% or percentage loss in 4times at 1% loss < 4%
Now
Percentage of wheat lost in the first three days = \(\frac{{x - (0.99 * 0.99 * 0.99)x}}{x} *100\) = 2.9
Hence QTYA < QTY B
Option is B

Lets, think the tank has 100 pounds,
So, First Day it lost 1% means 1% of 100 = 1 ; (we have remaining now 99)
Second Day it lost 1% means 1% of 99 = .99 (we have remaining now 98.01)
Third day it lost again 1% means 1% of 98.01 = .9801
NOw Added this we will get 1 + .99 + .9801 = 2.9701 % which is less than 3% . Answer B
