For MS in Finance, should I sit for GRE or GMAT ? I will start my preparation and a little bit confused. Which one will give me a competitive advantage?

it depends on the university you wanna attend.
Maybe one of those is better. You should take a look to the policy of the University. There is not a precise cut-off

The GMAT is certainly the tougher test of the two, imo. Take both and see how you do. If you can't score above 50% on the GMAT, then take the GRE.
