On solving the above equation, you get two roots, which are -2 and -3. Thus on adding we get -5, which square = 25.

For someone wondering another way to solve this: you can use direct formula for sum of roots which is (sum of roots = -b/a)
which comes out to be -5 squaring it we get 25.
