Here is my solution to this graph :
1. Units of energy acquired from Nuclear Plants in 1979 = 4.9% of 18509 = 906.941 ~ 907
Units of energy acquired from Nuclear Plants in 2004 = 12.5% of 20623 = 2577.875 ~ 2578
So this shows that option#1 is correct as number of power plants have increased from 1979 to 2004
2. The percent of total energy used from oil,coal,and natural sources in 1979= (27%+34.5%+27%) = 88.5% of 18509 = 16380.465 ~ 16380 units
The percent of total energy used from oil,coal,and natural sources 2004 = (34.5%+33%+18) = 85.5% of 20623 = 17632.665 ~ 17633 units
3. The amount of energy used from hydroelectric sources in 1979 = 5% of 18509 = 925.45 ~ 925 units
The amount of energy used from hydroelectric sources in 2004 = 3% of 20623 = 618.69 ~ 619 units
a. From above mentioned calculations,it is clear that option#1 is wrong as the given data does not provide us any information on the number of Nuclear Power plants.It just gives us information on units of energy consumed that is provided by Nuclear Power plants.So choice#1 is wrong.
b. Also the The percent of total energy used from oil,coal,and natural sources in 1979 is greater than the The percent of total energy used from oil,coal,and natural sources 2004.We can infer information on this point but the results are opposite of what has been mentioned in this option.
c. The amount of energy used from hydroelectric sources in 1979 is greater than the amount of energy used from hydroelectric sources in 2004.We can infer information from the graph on this point but here again the information provided on the graph is not as has been mentioned on this point. The amount of energy used from hydroelectric sources in 2004 was not less than one fourth the amount of energy used from hydroelectric sources in 1979.
