QUANTITY A: The mean monthly rainfall for the 8 months
mean \(=\frac{2+4+4+5+7+9+10+11}{8}=\frac{52}{8}=\frac{13}{2}=6.5\)
QUANTITY B: The median of the rainfall for the 8 months
Since we have an EVEN number of numbers, the median will be the average of the 2 middlemost values
We have: 2, 4, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11
So, the median = (5 + 7)/2 = 12/2 = 6
Answer: A

this guy over me is incredible intelligent! He answers all the questions perfectly. Just a suggestion from my side, do the calculation in your brain and not on a piece of paper, it'll save time... get used to it
