The middle column tells us the SUM of 30 ratings
For example, for symptom H, the SUM of 30 ratings = 12
So, the mean of the 30 ratings = 12/30 = 0.4
For symptom L, the SUM of 30 ratings = 35
So, the mean of the 30 ratings = 35/30 ≈ 1.167
At this point, we can see that the symptom with the mean closest to zero will be the symptom that has the SUM of 30 ratings closest to zero.
That symptom is symptom V
For symptom V, the SUM of 30 ratings = 2
So, the mean of the 30 ratings = 2/30 ≈ 0.0667
Answer: E
