\((x+2)(x-5)\)
\(x=-2\)
\(x=5\)

x^2–3x–10=0
x^2–5x+2x–10=0
x(x–5)+2(x–5)=0
(x-5)(x+2)=0
so,
x-5=0; x+2=0
x=5, –2
As, x>0 ; x=–2 cannot be the solution.
Hence, the answer is x=5, D is the answer.
x^2–5x+2x–10=0
x(x–5)+2(x–5)=0
(x-5)(x+2)=0
so,
x-5=0; x+2=0
x=5, –2
As, x>0 ; x=–2 cannot be the solution.
Hence, the answer is x=5, D is the answer.
