Let cats weight be 1,2,3,4,5 respectively. Thus, their average weight = 1+2+3+4+5 / 5 = 15/5 = 3.
We're given that weight of dog is 3 times the average of cats weight. Thus, 3*3 = 9.
Total weight of all the animals is 9+5(3) = 24
Thus, weight of dog of all the animals is 9/24 = 3/8
Thus, option C.

let wieght of a cat=1 so 5 cats=5
dog weight= 3times the average weight of 5 cats =3*5/5=3
so total animals weight =3+5=8
