sum of scores of 4 games = 120*4 = 480
avg of 5 games is a multiple of 7, consider avg= 7*d
sum of scores of 5 games= 7*d*5 = 35*d
score on the 5th game = sum of scores of 5 games - sum of scores on 4 games = 35*d - 480
Now to plug in options,
A. 80
80 = 35*d - 480 ----eq 1
D. 185
185 = 35*d - 480 ----eq 2
both these equations give d as an integer.
Hence the options A,D are correct
avg of 5 games is a multiple of 7, consider avg= 7*d
sum of scores of 5 games= 7*d*5 = 35*d
score on the 5th game = sum of scores of 5 games - sum of scores on 4 games = 35*d - 480
Now to plug in options,
A. 80
80 = 35*d - 480 ----eq 1
D. 185
185 = 35*d - 480 ----eq 2
both these equations give d as an integer.
