Radius of semi-circular part = 2 ft
So, height of window = 10 - 2 = 8 ft
=> Area = area of rectangular region + area of semi-circular region
= 4 * 8 + (1/2) * pi * 2 * 2
= 32 + 2*pi
So, the answer is E.
(PS: I forgot to multiply that (1/2) factor while calculating are of semi-circular region and marked option D and got it wrong. Before marking an option we should think one more time.)
