A: the first one is not the main conclusion so eliminate
B: The first is evidence that serves as the basis for rejecting one explanation of a certain finding there is no evidence it's just a contrast
C: again there is no claim there is finding
D: the finding at the start suggests a contrast and the second is the explanation of it so seems good
E: we are not challenging anything in the second part so we can eliminate this also.

So correct answer is D.
