Yes. Now it is more precise, otherwise we fly blind

I think is time, truly, to jot down a massive strategy guide. I did notice the students are lost , particularly on RC

I do know that GReg suggest a great strategy to attack. However, I do think could be improved

  • Practice active reading - do not just skim the passage or read just to read facts after facts
  • Make a general map of the passage
  • Notice change in tone. Shift words such as however or but, while, still and so forth
  • pinpoint double negative such as: It is not impossible to win means it is possible to win

For long passage

This is crucial: do not get lost into details, you can always come back thanks to your map to pinpoint where they are. You do need the whole picture and the main idea

For short it is the same

Hope this helps

I want to make sure that I understand you well.
Now you mean that read actively ( understand what are you reading and jot the important ideas and watching the transition words clearly.

Now, what do you mean by time?
Do you mean that if I don't have time I concentrate on the transition words but if I have I work time I work on simplification?

The only time suggested before is that it is time I create an RC guide.
I said basically, the best way to attack a passage is

1) Understand the whole idea and what the passage OVERALL is saying
2) Make in your mind or on your paper a map of it, as a whole.
3) Do not memorize or waste time into details. They are there to distract you
4) if you think is useful to simplify on steroid, feel free
