consider triangle CDE
x + y + angle(CED) = 180 --> 1
consider the line AB
angle(AEC) + angle(CED) + angle(BED) = 180
x + y + angle(CED) = 180 --> 2
1 and 2 are same equation.
So we have 1 equation with 2 variables, cannot find the value of x.
Hence, E is the right answer.
