Dividing by 14,236 instead of 14.236 means he divided by a number that is 1000 times larger.

Another example is dividing A by 1000 = A/1000
Instead of dividing by 1 = A/1

To correct A/1000 back to A/1, you have to multiply it by 1000 or divide it by 0.001

Hence his solution is 1000 times smaller. To rectify it, he can multiply the quotient by 1000 or divide by 0.001 to rectify it.

A/1000 * 1000 = A/1 = A or
A/1000 divided by 0.001 = A/1000 / 1/1000 = A/1000 * 1000/1 = A/1 = A

Same goes for the error that was made, hence the answers are A and H
