Re: Affordable universities for MS in Mechanical Engineering [#permalink]

For masters in Mechanical Engineering, I would recommend you to try for Germany. Less expensive, high quality education, good job prospects, post study work VISA of 18 months. All you need is above 70% in academics, 307+ GRE score, Minimum IELTS score – 6.5+ or Minimum TOEFL score – 87. Also you have to learn basic level of German language. Also in Germany, there is a concept called "Free Education in Germany".

Re: Affordable universities for MS in Mechanical Engineering [#permalink]

Hello, I have completed my Bachelor's degree in June 2015 and currently i am working as Apprentice trainee, also preparing for GRE and TOFEL so that i can go for master degree after one year of training. I wanted to know good, cheap and affordable universities for masters degree where i can also work part time and get aid from scholarship. The problem is that after reviewing different sites and fees structures in USA i believe i can afford to manage fees for 1st year then after i have to manage it by scholarship and part time, what i want to know is that is it possible to manage it by myself??? or i would have to get ad from my parents?? which i do not want to happen. If someone can share your views as well as give me details of as how to manage this would be great help. Also I am an Indian so as per my research in USA the 1 year fees is around 1500000-2000000. So Overall cost for around 2-3 years would be 4000000+ which i cant afford. Can anyone please guide me??. Also I would like to know requirements to get eligible for scholarship in USA.

Thanks
