Hi all, looking for some advice on switching from GMAT to GRE!
I completed my undergraduate studies at Georgetown in May and start my consulting job in January, so I am using time off partially to do these tests.
Yesterday I scored 720 (Q46, V42). I did no studying for Verbal but still scored 43, 44, and 42 (all 96-98%).
Quant was my main issue - it took 2 months, MPrep materials and tutoring just to get from Q42 to Q46.
Based on all of this, it seems like GRE would be a better test for me because
A) I know all Quant (high school math) material, so Quant prep should just be the new question types, timing, and test-taking strategies
B) Verbal will definitely be tough, but I scored 780 on SAT Verbal and am really good at memorizing vocab
Thoughts?

Hi prepster93,
Ideally you should have no problem with GRE since you have already undergone a tough regiment of training for your GMAT, however it would be highly advisable if you take some mock tests just to familiarize yourself with the GRE test format.
