Remind that a length of a side of a triangle is between the difference of lengths of other two sides and the sum of them.

Thus, the length of the third side is between \(8 - 4 = 4\) and \(8 + 4 = 12\).

Then all possible values among choices are \(5, 6, 7\) and \(8\).

Therefore, the right answers are C, D, E and F.
