Grace's garden area: 2 * 30 = 60
Per 15 square yard: $10
so, 60/15 = 4
4 * 10 * 12 = 480 per year
Ashley's garden area: 40 * 6 = 240
240/15 = 16
16 * 10 * 12 = 1920 per year
Ashley has to pay 1920 - 480 = $1440 more

Maintenance cost= $10 per 15 square feet for one month= $10/15 per square feet per month= $(10/15)*12 per square feet per year= $8 per year/ per square feet.
Grace Garden: Total area= 2*30=60sft, So annual Maintenance cost= 60*8=$480
Ashley Garden: Total area= 40*6=240sft, So annual Maintenance cost= 240*8=$1920
So, each year Ashley pays ($1920-$480) i.e $1440 more than Grace to maintain her garden.
