Hi and welcome home
Your quant score is quite ambitious and I think in your time frame before the exam is feasible. However, it depends a lot on your way to approach the questions.
I mean this is not a test that you read a book from the first page til the end or do 300 practice questions and BOOM. 170.
This is a test of logic, of endurance because is a long test, your nerves are struck, your time management must be tuned at its finest, and so forth
1. Quants : For Quants I think the ETS book and Manhattan 5lb is enough. I am from Mech. Eng so kind of good with maths so hope I can improve my score till May and score 170 on the day of actual test.
The Official Guides are the MUST material to study and MGRE is also good for quant. even though the best material is still the official one and the MGRE is a little bit off in my opinion, over the GRe scope, but is fine
here you have all the books of the GRE realm explained for FREE. MGRE included
GRE Quantitative FREE Practice Questions - (2020) EditionHer ALl the official guides from ETs
https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/all-the-o ... -8020.htmlI strongly suggest to use a lot the old BIG Book both for quant and verbal: the question highlighted in yellow are the difficult ones and most of them are STILL close to the questions you will see during the actual test. 27 tests overall with 2k questions
https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-pract ... -8553.htmlhere also ALl the powerprep free software questions explained
https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-power ... -3118.htmlI do not suggest though to go through if not sparingly because the score in your practice mock exam could be inflated but is a source to take into account
2. Verbal : For verbal I have barrons 333 high freq words,ETS books mentioned above,Wizard of oz vocabulary builder for practice .
For verbal we did not released yet the verbal strategy guides but both for TC and SE is not only a question of vocabulary to memorize but also to understand the meaning of the sentence. That is the key strategy to follow. Moreover, for Rc is almost the same: understand the passage and solve straight from the top to the bottom the questions NOT going back and forth between the passage and the questions IF not just to find specific details
For vocabulary we soon release our list but for now use this which contains in it words from the Official material

* Go through all the books that I mentioned above till first week of April after that only focus on practice tests, give as many of them as I can either free or paid and then work on all the topics that I did not score well in.
Give as many as tests is NOT your goal. Your goal is to have STRONG math fundamentals and solve questions even using different approaches or find shortcuts. BUt hands down: you must have strong basics. Use our Quant book which coversALL you need for the GRE
https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-math- ... -2609.html* For Quants solve the questions in the book by setting a timer of 30 mins for 20 questions.
This is fine. Use also our quant book which contains specifically the questions to practice from all level of difficulty and from all resources. See the link above
* For Quants I am not good with PNC and Probability does anyone know of good lectures for this topic ?
See link above
* For Verbal I honestly have no idea,my cousin suggested to go through Barrons list and the wizard of oz voc builder and practice from ets/manhattan books which according to him is more than enough. What do you suggest I do for verbal ? Does anyone know of free or cheap lectures for Verbal ?
See my directory to improve verbal: Improve reading. ALL for FREE
https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-impro ... 14903.htmlSoyrces specifically conceived for the GRE . NO waste time
* TBH I dont know the order in which I should complete these books or go through them, can anyone suggest an ideal order.
what is TBH ???
* Do you know of any site where I can get a lot of timed practice tests free or paid the higher the number of tests the better (no of test>40) .
See our directory of
FREE resources for all you do need
https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/free-gre- ... 18796.htmlAlso do not forget our PRETTY close to the real GRE practice tests
https://gre.myprepclub.com/tests/GRE Prep Club Tests* I am the kind of person who learns by solving questions and not from lectures, so I am willing to spend more money to purchase practice tests than spending on lecture material.
If you want just spend or invest money the only test you should by is the official PowerPrep PLus by ETS
Please Sir, let me know if you do have further questions. I willò try to address as much as I can
