Based on the context blank (i) and (ii) are closely related to words "capable" and "weakness"
We may not be able to guess the exact word just by looking at the sentence, however we can form a sense of the possible word
So for blank (i) we are look for an option that shows his prowess to resonate with "capable" => "power"
Blank (i) is "power"
Similarly blank (ii) has an opposite or negative connotation wrt (i) and it should resonate with "weakness":
options are: supercilious (insulting others, looking with disdain) -> out of context
susceptible -> makes sense, as you are susceptible to your weakness
impervious (doesn't pass through, not affected by feelings) -> somewhat opposite to what we are looking for
Blank (ii) is susceptible
Blank (iii) swings in opposite direction wrt its earlier words "dominating feature" i.e. a feature which is not dominating, vulnerable
Blank (iii) vulnerable
