The equation is in the form of \(a^2 - b^2\) = (a+b) (a-b)
Step 2: Calculation
(x+5 + y−3) (x+5-y +3) =0
(x+y+2) (x-y+8) = 0
(2+2) (x-y+8) = 0
4(x-y+8) = 0
hence, x-y = -8
B is correct
