slope of a line = \(\frac{(y2-y1)}{(x2-x1)}\)
i.e slope = \(\frac{(-3-0)}{(0-(-1))}\) = -3
so m1 = -3
Now for two lines to be perpendicular, the product of there slopes has to be equal to -1
so m1 * m2 = -1
i.e -3 * m2 = -1
so m2 = \(\frac{(1)}{(3)}\)
m2>m1
so answer is B
i.e slope = \(\frac{(-3-0)}{(0-(-1))}\) = -3
so m1 = -3

We can use the equation (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) to find the slope, which is -3. Intuitively, we know that a line that is perpendicular to this one must have a positive slope; thus Quantity B is greater.
