We can solve this question using matching operations (my favorite Quantitative Comparison strategy)
Given:
Quantity A: \(\frac{35^7}{5^{77}}\)
Quantity B: \(\frac{7^7}{5^{70}}\)
Multiply both quantities by \(5^{77}\) to get:
Quantity A: \(35^7\)
Quantity B: \(\frac{(7^7)(5^{77})}{5^{70}}\)
Simplify Quantity B to get:
Quantity A: \(35^7\)
Quantity B: \((7^7)(5^7)\)
Useful property: \((x^n)(y^n)=(xy)^n\)
When we apply this property to Quantity B we get:
Quantity A: \(35^7\)
Quantity B: \(35^7\)
Answer: C
