Let's test some possible values of x and y
case i: Since s and t are positive integers greater than 1, one possible pair of values is s = 16 and t = 4
We get:
Quantity A: \(s^{\frac{1}{4}} = 16^{\frac{1}{4}} = 2\)
Quantity B: \(s^{t-4}=16^{4-4}=16^{0}=1\)
In this case, Quantity A is greater
case ii: Another possible pair of values is s = 16 and t = 5
We get:
Quantity A: \(s^{\frac{1}{4}} = 16^{\frac{1}{4}} = 2\)
Quantity B: \(s^{t-4}=16^{5-4}=16^{1}=16\)
In this case, Quantity B is greater

I multiplied s^4 to both sides and got 1 as Quantity A and s^t as Quantity B.
Where did I go wrong?
EDIT: Oh, I saw the first quantity as 1/s^4 and not s^(1/4) ..
