Mary can fit 10 trophies in the 1st shelf in 10 ways.
Consequently, she can fit 9 trophies in the 2nd shelf in 9 ways.
She can fit 8 and 7 trophies in the 3rd and 4th shelf in 8 and 7 ways respectively.
No. of ways she can arrange new trophies = 10×9×8×7 = 5040 ways.
Therefore, option E is the correct answer.
