Let's take the intersection as point E
Now both lines are parallel,
On line CD let's take the first point is P and second as Q. So C - P - Q - D
EQD = 140 so EQP = 40 As the sum for both the angle should be 180.
ABP = 30 :- AB & CD are parallel lines so BPQ will be 30 as well.
Now in triangle EPQ the sum of internal angles should be 180.
So x + 30 + 40 = 180
x = 110
Answer B
Now both lines are parallel,

Line AB and CD are parallel.
Let us consider the point for angle x as O.
Let us consider the point for angle 140 degree as P.
Hence angle OCP = 30 degree (It is alternate to angle B)
Now angle OPC = 40 degree (OPC + 140 = 180 degree, angle in straight line = 180 degree)
Therefore, angle x = 110( sum of angle inside a triangle = 180 degree)
