Area of a triangle =(base)(height)2
Area of triangle AOB=(2)(2)2=2
QUANTITY B = 2

Area of a sector =(centralangle360)πr2
Area of sector OAB =(90360)(π)(22)=(14)(π)(4)=π
So, the area of the shaded region =π−2≈3.14−2≈1.14
QUANTITY A = (2)(1.14) = 2.28
