In other words, when we increase the base price by 20%, we get a new price of $18,000
Increasing a value by 20% is equivalent to multiplying that value by 1.20
So, we can write: 1.20B = $18,000
Divide both sides by 1.2 to get: B = $15,000
We get:
Quantity A: $15,000
Quantity B: $14,400
Answer: A
