Area of rectangle = L x B = 12
Given, L = 3B
So, Area = (3B) x B = 12
\(3b^2\) = 12
\(b^2\) = 4
B = 2
Therefore, L = 6 and B = 2
Perimeter = 2 (L + B) = 2 x 8 = 16
Hence, option D
Given, L = 3B
